Abstract

Through the researcher's field presence and work in the student activities department, as she is one of those interested in and following physical education and sports science lessons, she noticed that the female students have weaknesses in some elements of physical fitness to varying degrees, which leads to a decrease in physical performance and the physiological aspect as well, which gives a true indication of the physical effort exerted on the body's systems from the burden and effort expended during the complete movement sequence of the 800-meter event during the lesson. This is required in the correct scientific preparation for the students and relying solely on skill performance. Therefore, the researcher decided to prepare physical exercises that play a fundamental role in increasing the body's activity and vitality and help the body resist some difficulties they face from fatigue.During the early preparation phase for the female students, the research aims to identify the impact of isometric exercises on developing some elements of physical fitness and physiological indicators for the 800-meter event for female students. The researcher used the experimental method with pre-test and post-test for both the experimental and control groups due to its suitability for the nature of the research. The research population was determined to be the second-year evening students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad for the academic year 2002-2019, totaling 20 students. The research sample was selected using the comprehensive enumeration method, and the sample was divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group, each consisting of 10 students. For each group, electrical effort exercises were applied to the experimental group for eight weeks, with three training sessions per week. The researcher used the SPSS statistical package to process the data and reached the most important conclusions, which are the development between the pre-test and post-test in the effect of electrical effort exercises on the development of some physical fitness elements and physiological indicators for the effectiveness of the 800-meter run for female students in the experimental group, in favor of the post-test.
