Abstract

The importance of the research lies in the use of special training that includes various exercises with variable or no resistance, or training on sandy ground for a specific period, and hurdle jumping exercises with or without weights, or running over different distances with specific repetitions that match the sample's level, in different forms and with standardized training intensities and volumes. This is to understand the impact of these exercises on developing certain mechanical aspects and achieving the best performance according to a precise movement path for the 800-meter race, in accordance with the necessary requirements. The research aimed to prepare special training to develop speed strength, speed endurance, and total time for the 800-meter running event. The sample consisted of a group ofThe young runners, numbering (12), were divided into two groups (6 control) and (6 experimental), aged (19-17 years), who train regularly at the Sports Talent Center of the Specialized School in Baghdad for the year 2019/2020. They were selected intentionally. The research experiment period lasted from 10/2/2019 to 12/4/2019, with three training units per week (Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday), totaling (27) training units over two months from the start of the main experiment. Special exercises appropriate to the nature of the research were used, and statistical means were calculated using the SPSS statistical package. The researcher then analyzed and discussed the specified research variables through the KINOVEA motion analysis program directly for the 800-meter run.
