Abstract

The progress achieved in sports and athletic events was not coincidental; it resulted from continuous research and work through the use of modern methods, techniques, devices, and various tools to elevate learning to an advanced level. Therefore, the use of rubber resistance bands as a new learning method to develop the specific skills of tennis, which has gained significant attention recently due to its global and Olympic popularity, is important. This method is crucial in developing the biomechanical variables in the performance accuracy of the serve skill in tennis.The research problem in the skill of serving lies in the difficulty of performing it by learners who possess the talent to direct the serve perfectly. Therefore, the research addressed the impact of resistance band exercises on developing some biomechanical variables and the performance and accuracy of the serving skill of the sample individuals. The tests showed a significant relationship using this method to develop the variables under study and improve the serving skill of the sample individuals. The researcher concluded that the use of this method showed significant improvements in the variables in favor of the post-test results due to the use of this method. The researcher also recommended developing physical and skill-related abilities using resistance bands for other samples and sports.
