The significant achievements in sports events were not coincidental but rather the result of sound planning. This planning goes through several stages that precede the development of training programs. The first of these stages is the process of using tests and measurements that help in determining the athletes' levels for the purpose of preparing them appropriately and achieving progress. The individual's advancement to higher levels depends on the extent of their physical capabilities suitable for the type of activity they practice, which allows them to succeed and excel when provided with training based on sound scientific principles. Those who possess physical abilities can excel in various activities. The research problem is whether explosive strength is related to the performance of young weightlifters with disabilities. The aim of the research is to identify the relationship between explosive arm strength and the performance of young weightlifters. The human field of study was the sample of young weightlifters with disabilities. The researchers used the descriptive method, and the sample consisted of 10 young weightlifters with disabilities.
The researchers concluded the following:
1. The explosive strength of the arms is related to the performance of young weightlifters with disabilities.
2. Weightlifters with disabilities possess explosive arm strength that helps them achieve their sports activities.
The recommendations were:
1. The researchers recommend the necessity of focusing on developing the explosive strength of the arms for the young national team weightlifters with disabilities.
2. The researchers recommend conducting similar studies on different samples and categories.
