Abstract

The "Fit Cross" method is considered one of the modern training techniques, representing a new integrated training system. It includes some components of muscular strength, enhances physical abilities, and challenges individuals to push their limits. The importance of the research lies in utilizing specific exercises within the "Fit Cross" method, which is characterized by its training properties, to achieve success in weightlifting. This method is crucial for developing specific muscular strength components, which are key determinants in the sport. The researcher aims to apply a new training method that has been rarely used by coaches, seeking to develop the sport of weightlifting for beginners in the snatch lift.  The research aimed to prepare high-intensity special exercises using the fit cross method in weightlifting and to understand the impact of this exercise method on developing specific muscle strength components. The researcher used the experimental method with a controlled design for the two groups.The experimental and control groups underwent pre-test and post-test on a deliberately selected sample for the academic year 2020-2021, consisting of 10 pairs representing Baghdad clubs of talented weightlifters.  The pre-tests were conducted on some components of muscular strength and performance, while the control group applied regular special muscular strength exercises. After the implementation of the program on both groups, post-tests for muscular strength and performance were conducted for both groups. After processing the results obtained by the researcher, it was concluded that the "fit cross" exercises positively affected the development of some special physical abilities and the performance of the snatch lift among the experimental group of talented individuals.
