Abstract

The study aimed to prepare an educational curriculum related to the applied method under teacher guidance and the effectiveness of its use in teaching the decathlon events, as well as the impact of the educational curriculum on improving teaching performance. The researchers used an experimental method with two groups: an experimental group and a control group, for pre-test and post-test. The study sample consisted of 30 male and female students from the Physical Education Department at the College of Basic Education, Al-Mustansiriya University. They were divided into control and experimental groups, selected randomly. An educational curriculum was prepared using the micro-teaching strategy for the applied students. One of the most prominent results of the study was that the micro-teaching method has a significant positive impact on learning, developing, and enhancing the level of technical and skill performance.
