Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of health awareness among graduate students in the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan, as well as to determine the differences in the level of health awareness according to the study variables (gender, academic degree, place of residence) among the students. The descriptive method was used due to its suitability for the nature of the study. To achieve this, the study was conducted on a sample of 138 male and female students, and a health awareness measurement questionnaire consisting of 32 items was used as a data collection tool. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program was also used to analyze the results. The study results showed thatThe overall level of health awareness among graduate students was at a moderate degree. According to the fields, nutrition ranked first, followed by posture, then physical activity, and personal health ranked last. The results also indicated no statistical differences in the level of health awareness among graduate students at the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan based on the variables of gender, academic degree, place of residence. The researchers recommended the necessity of holding awareness seminars about the benefits of health awareness for individuals, both on and off campus.
