The level of psychological stress among trainers of health sports clubs in Jordan and Libya

This study aimed to identify the level of psychological stress among coaches of health sports clubs in Jordan and Libya, and the differences in the level of psychological stress among coaches based on the variables of country, years of experience, and gender. The descriptive method was used, and the sample consisted of 101 coaches, randomly selected as follows: 87 coaches from Jordan and 14 coaches from Libya. A psychological stress questionnaire was developed for this study to collect data, which was then analyzed. The results indicated a high level of psychological stress among coaches of health sports clubs in Jordan and Libya.Jordan and Libya showed a significant difference in the aspect related to resources and incentives, and a moderate level concerning the social aspect. The results did not show statistically significant differences in the level of psychological stress among trainers based on the variables of country, years of experience, and gender. The researchers recommend studying the methods and ways that could reduce the levels of psychological stress among trainers in health sports clubs and examining the impact of the psychological stress faced by trainers on the performance level of the attendees in health sports clubs.
