The impact of aerobic endurance exercises on developing specific physical abilities for young football players (16-18 years old).

Football is one of the most popular and exciting sports in most countries around the world, attracting a large number of followers, fans, and practitioners. It has become a lifestyle for many people worldwide, influencing various aspects of political, economic, cultural, and social life. The study aimed to prepare exercises based on anaerobic endurance for young football players (ages 16-18) and to identify the impact of these (physical) exercises based on specific anaerobic endurance on developing certain physical abilities among young football players (ages 16-18). The researchers used the experimental method due to its suitability for the research problem and selected their research sample from the players of the club.The sports army in football for the youth category, consisting of 20 players, was divided into two equal groups: the control group and the experimental group, with each group comprising 10 players. After consulting with experts and specialists in the field of football, the appropriate physical capacities for the study were selected, and their tests were recommended, in addition to the validity of the exercises prepared by the researchers and their suitability for the target group. In light of the results, the researchers recommended emphasizing the use of exercises according to aerobic endurance due to their significant importance during training units in the special preparation period and competitions, as they are crucial for development.Some physical abilities of young football players (16-18 years old) and the necessity of gradually training and developing these physical abilities to reach the highest possible intensity and duration during the special preparation phase, and maintaining them during the competition phase and making necessary adjustments. The exercises had a positive and clear impact on developing some physical abilities in the experimental group, and the proposed exercises achieved a noticeable improvement in the experimental group.
