The researchers used the descriptive survey method on a sample of young players from the clubs (Diyala, Al-Khalis, and Bani Saad). After applying the composite physical and skill-based tests determined by experts, collecting data, and processing it statistically, the researchers reached the following conclusions based on the results: There is no superiority in the performance of the tests.(Physical - Skill-based) is under research among players according to body type. The following is recommended: adopting the (physical-skill-based) tests that researchers have relied on in the objective evaluation process for the players of Diyala youth clubs and directing them towards the position that matches their physical variables and physical and skill abilities, and generalizing them to be adopted in selecting qualified players for league matches. Additionally, conducting similar research and studies for all levels and age stages to identify their performance levels and evaluate the players' level and the impact of that on the training process for the game of football.
