Abstract

The study aimed to understand the effects of Saku training on developing certain motor and skill-related abilities in fencing. The experimental method was used as it was appropriate for the nature of the research. The sample included players from the Specialized Center for Sports Talent Development in fencing, aged under 17 years, totaling 20 players who were divided into two equal groups: experimental and control. Subsequently, Saku training was implemented for 8 weeks, with one-third of the training units per week. The duration of the Saku training was 15-20 minutes immediately after warming up. After the program was completed...The researchers used the SPSS statistical package to extract the results, and they concluded that the Sakio exercises contributed to the development of the experimental group through pre-test and post-test comparisons, as well as post-test comparisons with the control group in the specified research tests. They recommend the necessity of using these exercises, especially during the general preparation period.
