Abstract

The current research aims to identify the level of cognitive motivation among students of phRegarding the first objective, the results indicate a high level of cognitive motivation among students of physical education and sports science colleges in Iraq. The researchers recommended adopting incentives that align with the stimulated motivations, aiming to sustain and reinforce the flow of intellectual energies, such as allocating study seats for completing postgraduate studies for the top ten students in the colleges or sending them for scholarships and study missions abroad.ysical education and sports science colleges and to determine the significance of the differences in the level of cognitive motivation among students of physical education and sports science colleges according to the gender variable. The researchers used the descriptive survey method as it is the most suitable method for addressing the research problem. The current research population was determined to be students from some physical education and sports science colleges in Iraq, as shown in the table below, with the research population being (2035) male and female students, while the research sample was (400).
