Organizational culture and its relationship with the level of administrative empowerment of employees in sports federations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

This study aimed to identify the organizational culture and its relationship with the level of administrative empowerment of employees in sports federations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Research Methodology: The researcher used the descriptive survey method. Study Population and Sample: The study population consisted of employees in Saudi sports federations, totaling (588), distributed across (34) federations. Study Tool: The researcher used a questionnaire as the study tool, which was distributed to all employees in Saudi sports federations using a comprehensive survey method; (480) questionnaires were distributed after excluding the pilot sample (325 questionnaires).After examining the questionnaires, it became clear that (18) out of the (30) questionnaires were incomplete and were therefore excluded. Thus, the final number of valid questionnaires was (307), representing (52%) of the original study population. Study Results: The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are as follows:
1. The study showed a high level of agreement on the availability of organizational culture at a high level in the sports federations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. The study showed a high level of agreement on the availability of administrative empowerment at a high level in the sports federations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3. The results showed statistically significant differences between the responses of the research sample in all study axes according to the variables of educational qualification, work experience, nature of work in the federation, and number of training courses.
4. The study showed that organizational culture, represented by (the dimension of organizational values and the dimension of organizational climate), is positively and significantly correlated at the 0.01 significance level with the level of administrative empowerment among employees in sports federations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
5. The results showed statistically significant differences at the 0.05 significance level in favor of sports federations for team sports, attributed to the dimensions of the first axis: organizational culture, and the dimensions of the second axis: administrative empowerment, over sports federations for individual sports.
