Psychological disorders, random thinking, and their relationship with violent behavior among fourth-year female students

The research aims to: 1. Identify psychological rebellion and irrational thinking among female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad. 2. Find the correlation between psychological disorders and irrational thinking and their relation to violent behavior among the students of our college. 3. Identify the correlation between psychological rebellion, irrational thinking, and violence among the students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad. A. There is a statistically significant correlation between psychological rebellion and irrational thinking among the students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad. B. There is a statistically significant correlation between psychological rebellion, irrational thinking, and violence among the students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad.The research sample consisted of students from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad for the morning undergraduate studies for the academic year (2020). The researchers adopted the descriptive correlational method and used the Psychological Reactance Scale, which consists of (39) items, and the Irrational Beliefs Scale, which includes (52) items. The Violence Scale, which contains 58 items, was also used. After confirming the validity and reliability indicators of the scales used, the current study relied on using the SPSS statistical package for data processing. After presenting, estimating, and discussing the results, the following conclusions emerged from the research findings:1. A statistically significant correlation was found between psychological rebellion and irrational thoughts among female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad.
2. A statistically significant correlation was found between psychological rebellion, irrational thoughts, and the violence scale among female students of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Girls at the University of Baghdad.
