Research Objective: -To build a reference educational unit for field and track competitions and its impact on the skill performance level of primary school students with hearing and speech impairments, for the races of sprinting, low start, relay, and long jump. This is achieved by identifying:
1. The objectives of the proposed educational unit reference.
2. The content of the proposed educational unit reference.
3. The teaching methods and techniques used in the proposed educational unit reference.
4. The evaluation methods used in the proposed educational unit reference. -The impact of the educational unit reference for field and track competitions on the skill performance level of primary school students with hearing and speech impairments, for the races of sprinting, low start, relay, and long jump.Within the limits, nature, and scope of the research and its objectives, in light of the research hypotheses, the methodology used, the nature of the sample, and through the statistical analysis of the data, the following conclusions were reached: Research hypotheses
- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-test and post-test for the experimental group in favor of the post-test in the level of skill performance in the "running" race for primary school students who are deaf and mute.
- There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-test and post-test for the experimental group in favor of the post-test in the level of skill performance in the "low start" race for primary school students who are deaf and mute.
- Construction of a reference educational unit in athletics for the events (50-meter low start run, 4x50-meter relay, long jump) for seventh-grade deaf and mute students. The proposed educational unit reference is effective in teaching the events (50-meter sprint from a low start, 4x50 meter relay, long jump) to deaf and mute students in the seventh grade of primary school. The proposed educational unit reference has a positive impact on improving the level of performance in athletics events (50-meter sprint from a low start, 4x50 meter relay, long jump) for the experimental group, as shown by the post-measurement, where the improvement rate for these skills ranged between 89.53% and 70.08%. This high percentage indicates the extent to which the proposed exercises were utilized and developed to serve the teaching of the skills in question.
