Abstract

Psychological resilience represents different matches as it involves the perception of movement, the sequence of skills, situations, and goals. The player is able to apply the planned strategies, execute various skills, and make decisions to perform the appropriate motor tasks for the practiced skill. It also contributes to controlling thoughts and modifying behavior to reach a better level, increase self-confidence, and emotional control. It is considered one of the factors that affect the performance of the player or the game to exert the required effort for skill execution.The research problem manifests in the psychological aspect and its significance in training. After reviewing scientific sources and previous studies, the researcher noticed a general lack of attention from coaches to the psychological field, particularly psychological resilience. This prompted the researcher to study psychological resilience and its relationship with physical abilities and shooting techniques in basketball for the female players of the College of Education for Girls' team. The researcher used the descriptive method to address the research problem, and the research community included 14 players from the College of Education for Girls' team at the University of Kufa. The sample consisted of 12 players from the community after excluding two due to injury in order to achieve the research objectives.
