Fencing is a core subject in physical education and sports science colleges. It has been observed that female students find it difficult to learn and master fencing skills due to the numerous components of the curriculum and the difficulty in performing them. Here, the teacher's ability to deliver the lesson using methods and techniques that make the lesson more effective and impactful is highlighted, thereby improving the practical and theoretical performance of the students. This led the researchers to the idea that a teacher who possesses the ability to effectively deliver the lesson reaps its benefits through the practical performance of the students in fencing skills. The study aimed to identify the relationship between the teacher's creative ability in delivering the lesson and the practical achievement of some fencing skills among female students in the fencing lesson. The descriptive method using correlational relationships was employed to suit the nature of the research problem. The research population was defined as the second-year female students, totaling 109 students, since fencing is part of the second-year curriculum. The research sample was selected intentionally after excluding the pilot sample of 5 students, resulting in a research sample of 104 students. The creativity ability scale for physical education teachers was adopted, and the students' practical fencing skills were evaluated during the first semester from January 12, 2020, to March 26, 2020, with a total score of 15 points for evaluation. The practical performance of skills (ready position, advance and retreat jumps, thrust) was analyzed and discussed after collecting and statistically processing the results and presenting them in tables. It was concluded that the teachers of fencing possess a degree of creative ability in lesson delivery, which has a significant positive correlation with the practical performance of some saber skills for female students. Therefore, we recommend using the creativity ability scale in lesson delivery as part of the annual functional performance requirements for physical education teachers outside of physical education lessons, and paying attention to modern technology in the management and sciences of sports.
