The degree of psychological hesitation among female swimming students in the Faculty of Physical Education at Khadoorie University

The study aimed to identify the degree of psychological hesitation among female swimming students in the Faculty of Physical Education at Khadouri University. To achieve this, the study was conducted on a purposive sample of (52) female swimming students registered for Swimming 1 and Swimming 2 courses according to the admission and registration records at Khadouri University during the summer semester (2023-2024 AD). The researcher used the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data, and to process the data and reach the results, the statistical program (SPSS) was used. The results showed that the degree of psychological hesitation among female swimming students in the Faculty of Physical Education at Khadouri University was moderate, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of psychological hesitation among female swimming students in the Faculty of Physical Education at Khadouri University attributed to the variables (course type, academic stage, place of residence). The researcher recommends conducting extensive studies on the psychological and social factors affecting psychological hesitation in different sports, focusing on additional variables such as gender, previous experience, and individual motivations to improve understanding of this phenomenon and develop innovative treatment strategies.
