Abstract

The study aimed to prepare skill-based motor response exercises that align with the capabilities of the research sample. The researchers used the experimental method with two groups: an experimental group and a control group, with pre-test and post-test to suit the nature of the research. The research sample was intentionally selected from the students of the College of Basic Education, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, for the academic year 2020/2021, second stage, totaling 121 students. The researchers divided the students into two groups: an experimental group with 15 students and a control group with 16 students, resulting in a final sample size of 131 students. The researchers used a set of tests to measure the research variables, including three tests: the modified motor response speed test and the handling accuracy test. The skill exercises were completed according to the mental rotation method. The experiment was conducted over a period of 8 weeks, with one educational unit per week, due to the current national situation caused by the spread of the Corona pandemic. The researchers were unable to complete the experiment due to the imposition of a complete curfew on 15/2/2021, which coincided with a Monday, according to the directives of the Central Crisis Cell, and the students' cessation of attendance. The researchers had to settle for this number of educational units.Skill exercises for two months, consisting of (8) weeks with (8) educational units in total. The total time for each educational unit is (90) minutes, with the main part of the educational unit lasting (60) minutes. The researchers reached several recommendations, including conducting similar studies on other individual and team skills and games for different ages and both genders.
