The aim of the research was to identify: -1 The accuracy of shooting close to the center area from standing, jumping, and moving positions. -2 The accuracy of shooting close to the left area from standing, jumping, and moving positions. -3 The accuracy of shooting close to the right area from standing, jumping, and moving positions. -4 The differences in shooting accuracy close to various areas and positions. The researchers used the descriptive method in a comparative style, which helped in reaching some precise tests applied to a sample of (12) players representing Al-Fatwa Club for the year 2021. The data were statistically processed using (mean, standard deviation, simple correlation, one-way data analysis method, least significant difference L.S.D). The main results reached by the research.
1. The position from which the close shooting is performed has a significant impact on its accuracy, whether from the center, right, or left. This was reflected in the significant differences observed through the comparison of arithmetic means and the L.S.D value, which favored the jumping position and the center area compared to the jumping position in other areas.
2. The area from which the close shooting is performed has a significant impact on its accuracy, as reflected in the significant differences observed through the arithmetic means of shooting accuracy in the center and left-right areas, which favored the center area compared to the left and right areas.
The researchers recommend the following:
1. Paying attention during training on close shooting from the area facing the goal and from all positions, especially the jumping position.
2. Focus during training on shooting close to the corner, especially the angle opposite the player's shooting arm, in all positions.
3. Avoid taking risks and shooting from the side of the shooting arm except in critical situations.
4. Focus during training on all other types of shooting from all positions.
