Common sports injuries among team players at Mu'tah University

This study aimed to identify the common sports injuries among team players at Mu'tah University. The researcher used the descriptive method due to its suitability for the nature of the study. The research sample consisted of 69 players selected intentionally from the research community. The researcher used a questionnaire as a means of data collection. The results showed that the most common sports injuries among team players at Mu'tah University are fractures. It also showed that the wrist joint is the most susceptible part to injury. Additionally, inadequate warm-up is the main cause of injuries. The researcher recommended the necessity of proper warm-up, raising players' awareness of its importance, providing safety and security measures in the playgrounds, and giving players and coaches educational courses on sports injuries and how to avoid or minimize them.
