Abstract

This study aimed to identify sports culture and its relationship with psychological and social adjustment among students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan. The researchers used the descriptive method to suit the nature of this study, and the study sample was selected using the simple random method, consisting of 1,000 male and female students from the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan, enrolled in the first semester of the 2019/2020 academic year. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool, and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program was used to analyze the results. The results showed that the level of culture...The level of sports culture among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan was low, and the level of psychological and social adjustment among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan was average. Additionally, there is a strong correlational relationship between the level of sports culture and psychological and social adjustment among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Jordan. The researchers recommended conducting more studies on the psychological and social adjustment of physical education students.
