Abstract

This study aimed to establish normative scores for the physical and skill-related abilities of youth football players in the Al-Jazira region, specifically in the city of Madani, according to the principles and stages of test design that adhere to sound scientific foundations of validity, reliability, and objectivity. To verify this, the researcher used the descriptive method with a correlational approach. After conducting the main experiment on a sample of 50 youth players, the data obtained were statistically analyzed. The most important conclusions reached include: the results proved that there are differences between some types of physical tests (general endurance and transitional speed). And the power distinguished by speed) while there are no differences in some types of skill tests (passing, ball control, dribbling, and heading). The researchers recommend the necessity of using the tests in selection and training processes that achieve results in local, regional, and international competitions. It is important to invest in the results of this studied research to change the condition of Sudanese football teams for the better.
