The research aims to identify the nutritional characteristics of athletes and understand the differences between diet and quality of life during and after the quarantine period during the Corona pandemic. The study relied on the descriptive survey method, which was used by the researchers due to its suitability for the nature of the problem being addressed. The study population consists of athletes in the city of Jeddah, where the sample was composed of 89 athletes selected randomly. The researchers opted to use a questionnaire to measure the nutritional characteristics of athletes during and after the quarantine period, which consisted ofTwo main axes: The first axis measures data related to the general nutritional aspect during and after quarantine, while the second axis measures data related to the specific nutritional aspect during and after quarantine. The study showed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean quality of life during and after quarantine in favor of the quality of life after quarantine. There are no statistically significant differences between the mean food intake during and after quarantine. The researchers recommended the necessity of conducting training courses on the nutritional characteristics of athletes and the need to activate the role of visual and printed media to increase awareness among athletes about nutritional characteristics.
