The research aims to identify the impact of competitive educational exercises with assistive tools on developing the spike and court defense skills in volleyball for players aged 13-15 years. The experimental method was used, and the sample consisted of 24 players divided into two groups: a control group and an experimental group. The results showed an effect between the competitive educational exercises and the spike and court defense skills. The researchers recommended the necessity of using competitive exercises and assistive tools due to their positive impact on increasing players' enthusiasm and learning speed in the educational unit. The research sample underwent field tests, including pre- and post-tests, and after conducting the treatments.Statistical analysis, presentation of results, and discussion led the researchers to the following conclusion: there are statistically significant differences between the pre-test and post-test results for the researched skills. Based on these conclusions, the researchers recommend several suggestions, including incorporating competitive exercises during educational units and relying more on the competitive method due to its impact on the learning process as one of the educational methods in volleyball or other sports.
