The study aimed to identify the effect of anaerobic physical work on the activity of some of the main enzymes controlling the process of anoxic oxidation. To achieve this, the study was conducted on a purposive sample of (30) students from physical education students at Khadouri University and registered in the physical preparation course in the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023. They were randomly distributed equally into two groups, the first experimental and the second control. The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach and conducted the pre- and post-measurements of the skills under study. To process the data and reach the results, the statistical program (SPSS) was used. The results showed statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre- and post-measurements in the level of the enzymes (CPK, LDH) under study and in favor of the post-measurement among the members of the experimental group. The study recommends conducting additional studies aimed at understanding the physiological mechanisms that lead to the observed changes in the levels of the CPK and LDH enzymes as a result of the intervention. Understanding these mechanisms could help improve future interventions and make them more effective and targeted, as well as elucidate other potential health benefits of these interventions
